Raleigh Home Sales Continue to Increase
Wake County inventory levels fell to a new low in November 2011. Inventory of homes for sale in the Raleigh market are now at their lowest levels in more than 4 years.
Inventory of homes for sale in Wake County is down 25% in November of 2011 from November of 2010.
The number of homes for sale is at it's lowest level since before 2007 - homebuyers who held out, hoping for premium homes at "clearance" pricing are finding disappointment instead. Real estate agents are reporting multiple offers on well-priced properties, particularly those in prime areas.
The past five months have seen double digit increases in closed sales for Wake County, with pending sales indicating that the trend will continue in the Raleigh area for December.
Not surprising, as Raleigh has (AGAIN) appeared on the "Best Places to Live" list - this year making the #1 place in Businessweek's "America's Best City" list.
